Directed by Ashley Stults Wester, this is a classic story of friendship, frolicking, and fun. Two succinct acts, perfect for antsy youngsters, this performance includes special surprises at the beginning and end of Act Two.
December 2, 2022 marks the opening night of Valley Youth Theatre's 25th production of A WINNIE-THE-POOH CHRISTMAS TAIL. The Valley holiday tradition features talented young performers as the loveable storybook characters from our childhoods – Eeyore, Rabbit, Tigger, Piglet and Winnie-The-Pooh.
Performed by casts of the Valley's top young performers, Valley Youth Theatre has been the gold standard of family entertainment since its beginning in 1989.
In conjunction with their Physician Advisory Panel, Valley Youth Theatre will continue to pause its 2021-2022 season until the safety of its young performers is more certain.
More than 100 performers from Arizona and nationwide will hit the stage for Valley Youth Theatre's (VYT) VYTal Affair-athon, an eight-hour, Jerry Lewis-style virtual event to be streamed live.

Local award-winning children's theatre company, Valley Youth Theatre (VYT), had to cancel the last two shows of their 31st season and all upcoming performing arts camps and classes for the spring. With no incoming revenue, they have decided to look to the future and launch their a?oeInvest in VYTa?? campaign, awarding a ticket to each of their next six productions for every $100 invested in VYT during the COVID-19 crisis.

Valley Youth Theatre (VYT) opens their 24TH production of A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas Tail, Friday, December 6, at 7:00 pm, at Valley Youth Theatre. In addition to opening night, public performances include Saturdays and Sundays, December 7, 8, 14, 15 and 22 at 12:30 pm and 3:00 pm, as well as three performances on Saturday, December 21, at 11:00 am, 1:30 pm and 4:00 pm and two performances on Monday, December 23, at 10:00 am and 12:30 pm. The theatre is located at 525 North First Street, in Downtown Phoenix, and ticket prices begin at $17, when purchased as part of a 4-show package.
