A very special Friend-and-Relation tells Christopher Robin a story of a Christmas Eve very long ago (about last year) when Eeyore, the old gray donkey who lives by himself in the thistle corner of Hundred-Acre Wood, was absolutely miserable. It seems that he lost his tail and Winnie-the-Pooh and Piglet got all of their friends and a search was organized. There is a great deal of fun and excitement, plus delightful songs, in the adventure that follows. Its theme, which concerns caring, sharing and the importance of cultivating friends, makes this a very special and enchanting musical suitable for any age. A Winnie-The-Pooh Christmas Tail is sponsored by a donation from Ann and Dan Nahom. Book, music and lyrics by James W. Rodgers. Inspired by A.A. Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh.

Valley Youth Theatre Opens 24th WINNIE THE POOH CHRISTMAS TAIL
November 26, 2019Valley Youth Theatre (VYT) opens their 24TH production of A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas Tail, Friday, December 6, at 7:00 pm, at Valley Youth Theatre. In addition to opening night, public performances include Saturdays and Sundays, December 7, 8, 14, 15 and 22 at 12:30 pm and 3:00 pm, as well as three performances on Saturday, December 21, at 11:00 am, 1:30 pm and 4:00 pm and two performances on Monday, December 23, at 10:00 am and 12:30 pm. The theatre is located at 525 North First Street, in Downtown Phoenix, and ticket prices begin at $17, when purchased as part of a 4-show package.
