The Pulitzer Prize Board has just announced that English, by Sanaz Toossi has won the 2023 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Other finalists included: On Sugarland by Aleshea Harris and The Far Country by Lloyd Suh.

While best known for his roles in film, Hurt got his start on the stage in the 1970s. Director Ivo van Hove is set to work on a stage adaptation of Stephen King's The Shining, according to Forbes. Simon Stephens has been working on the script and it is believed that the play will premiere in London's West End before heading to Broadway.

The nonprofit Sundance Institute announced today the showcase of new independent feature films selected across all categories for the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. The Festival hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort, from January 24 - February 3, 2019.

A show representative tells us that the tour will be postponed until 2019. 'The tour will now launch in 2019 with stops in St. Paul, Dallas, and Washington D.C. ahead of the previously announced run at New York City Center which will begin performances, as previously announced, on Tuesday, July 30,' says a rep. 'The production is working with everyone involved to reschedule and news about the North American tour will be announced soon.'
