Laterna Magika premiered the dramatic ballet "Casanova" in 1995 under the direction of the renowned artist Juraj Jakubisko (Millennial Bee , Bathory ). It is also the only performance that can be described as the pure story of Casanova's life though stylized.

The story permeates many environments and historical eras. The author of the choreography is Jean-Pierre Aviotte who was for several years the head of the Laterna Magika ballet group. The central duet accompanies the E-dur Concerto by JS Bach, however, the author of music is the popular composer Zdenek Merta.

"One of the biggest pros of Casanova is the excellent choreographer Jean-Pierre Aviotta. His choreography is full of new and fresh ideas, especially in the solo duets."

Svobodne slovo (1995)

"The director tells a story about a boy who after being kissed by the Fate turns into a man in love with a fatal girl named Angelica whom he is trying to find in different women ... At the bottom of the Casanova's myth lies the love of oneself."
