Curated by Juan Michael Porter II, THE SERIES 2017 presents a versatile range of artistically provocative choreographers in contrasting programs of dance.  At each performance, one or two of the 12 guest companies will share the program with Michael Mao Dance in a set of works that run the gamut from social dance to jazz to contemporary ballet to abstract pieces marked by their German Expressionistic values. The common thread running through each company featured in THE SERIES  is the use of spectacular physical virtuosity to communicate fantastic ideas, June 6-11 at the Hudson Guild Theatre, 441 West 26th Street.

Eryc Taylor Dance (ETD) will join Paul Taylor Dance and seven other dance companies in performance at the second annual "Dancers for Good" benefit at the Ross School in East Hampton, NY, Saturday June 3 at 7:30pm.

Eryc Taylor Dance (ETD) will present an original work created by ETD Outreach for dancers living in Lantern Community Services' supportive housing, to premiere during the Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance Uptown Arts Stroll on Friday, June 2 with two performances at 4pm and 6pm, Harlem School of the Arts (645 St Nicholas Avenue New York, New York 10032).

THE PORTAL is a rock odyssey conceived and directed by Luke Comer, with original music composed by Tierro Lee and Luke Comer, starring Billy Lewis Jr. (Mason McCarthy on the Fox series 'Glee'), and choreographed by Jessica Chen. Eryc Taylor Dance will present the US premiere of seven new choreographic works in celebration of the company's 10th Anniversary, Friday, October 21, and Saturday, October 22nd at Martha Graham Center for Contemporary Dance, 55 Bethune Street (Greenwich Village) in New York City. Each dance piece will feature an independent narrative, choreographed by Mr. Taylor as well as by company members.

The pieces will be performed consecutively in one large performance space; the standing audience will be free to move about and follow the dancers to different areas of the room to witness the pieces from various perspectives.
