Vision Productions will present the limited engagement of the Midwest premiere of The Art of Sisters, adapted and directed by Vision Productions Artistic Director Miriam Canfield, March 4 – 7 in the library at Mayslake Peabody Estate, 1717 31st St. Opening/press night is Wednesday, March 4 at 7:30 p.m. with additional performances Thursday, March 5 and Friday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 7 at 3 and 7:30 p.m. The running time is 80 minutes with no intermission. Tickets are $28 each and on sale at Visionproductions.org.

Haven Announces 2019-20 Season

Haven Theatre, newly rebranded as "Haven," announces its 2019-20 Season, kicking off this fall with its fifth consecutive DIRECTORS HAVEN, three short plays showcasing the talents of early career directors, each with razor-sharp and inspiring visions for their work and our industry. Helming this year's productions are Lauren Katz, Aaron Mays and AJ Schwartz.
Sundance Now Comes Aboard Season Two of Crime Drama Series RIVIERA Starring Julia Stiles

Sundance Now, AMC Networks' premium streaming service, announced it has come aboard season two of the thrilling crime drama, “Riviera.” The series, which is currently shooting on location in Nice, will be available to stream on Sundance Now in 2019. Joining the cast for season two is Alex Lanipekun (“Homeland,” “The Borgias,” “24”), as well as the previously announced Will Arnett (“Arrested Development”),Juliet Stevenson (Truly, Madly, Deeply), Poppy Delevingne (Kingsman: The Golden Circle), Jack Fox (“Dracula”), and Grégory Fitoussi (World War Z). They'll join returning cast members Julia Stiles, Lena Olin, Roxane Duran and Dimitri Leonidas, picking up in the aftermath of the shocking first season finale.
Florida Theatre-Inspired Short Film, 50 WORDS Makes Orlando Debut

Written, produced, cast, and filmed entirely local to Florida, '50 Words' will screen at the 2018 Saints and Sinners Film Festival, part of MegaCon Orlando at the Orange County Convention Center. Inspired by her experiences in the regional Florida theater-scene, the 28-minute narrative romantic comedy was written, starred in, and produced by Sarasota, Florida-based actor Kathryn Parks. Mark Palmer, award-winning cinematographer and southwest Florida-based owner of Mars Vision Productions directed the film.
EARWORM Joins The 2018 Hollywood Fringe Festival

Impaired Vision Productions is excited to bring EARWORM to the stage for its World Premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Written by David Paul Bryant, directed by Robert Carlton Stimmel and David Paul Bryant, EARWORM follows a group of people who each have a song stuck in their head that they're dying to get out.
