Last Friday, May 24, the audience at 54 Below was treated to the beautiful, dulcet tones of America’s Got Talent finalist, Jimmie Herrod with COLOR & LIGHT. This reviewer loved seeing just how much Herrod was enjoying himself on stage. He performed with such ease and grace and communicated so effortlessly with his bandmates. It was a joy to watch!

It’s baseball season in a baseball town, Red Sox caps are sprouting like spring flowers, and the Huntington is getting in on the act, too, with a crackerjack production of “Toni Stone,” a play about the first woman to play professional baseball on a men’s team, which will run through June 16 at the Huntington Theatre in its New England premiere.
Florida Rep Executive Director Announces Retirement
Florida Repertory Theatre's longtime executive director, John Martin, announced his retirement in April, and will depart the organization after twenty-three years. The board of directors will conduct a national search to fill the position next fall, and Martin plans to remain involved in an emeritus capacity to ensure a smooth transition.
