Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is now celebrating its seventh anniversary in the West End and James Howard, who plays Draco Malfoy, has been with the production since the very beginning. BroadwayWorld spoke with James about his near seven-year-long journey with the hit show since it opened in London in 2016.

The internationally award-winning London production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will celebrate the Hogwarts houses early next year with four special performances dedicated to each house. Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw houses are the four living and learning communities for Hogwarts students, named after the wizarding school's four founders.

Tickets for the West End production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child are currently available for performances at the Palace Theatre until 27 March 2022 and remain priced from £15 per part, and for every performance there are over 300 tickets at £20 or less per part. 

The fourth West End Company of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child comprises Jamie Ballard as Harry Potter, Susie Trayling as Ginny Potter with Dominic Short as Albus Potter; Michelle Gayle as Hermione Granger, Rayxia Ojo as Rose Granger-Weasley and Thomas Aldridge as Ron Weasley; and James Howard as Draco Malfoy and Jonathan Case as Scorpius Malfoy.

The producers of the West End company of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child have released the latest set of character portraits ahead of the fourth West End cast's first performance at London's Palace Theatre on Wednesday 22 May 2019.

Rehearsals began this week for the fourth West End cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child who will start performances at the Palace Theatre in London on 22 May 2019 following the final performance from the current cast on 19 May 2019.

Today, 30 July 2018, on the eve of Harry Potter's birthday, the anniversary of the world premiere and the start of the third year for the London Production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre, the Producers announce further tickets to be released for sale on 18 September 2018, at 11 GMT, for performances from 10 April - 28 July 2019. Tickets are priced from £15 per part and for every performance there are over 300 tickets at £20 or less per part.

The new West End cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child began performances at the Palace Theatre in London's West End on 23 May 2018. Jamie Ballard plays Harry Potter, Susie Trayling plays Ginny Potter and Joe-Idris Roberts plays their son Albus Potter. Artistic Director Christopher Haydon today announces full casting for the world premiere of The Iphigenia Quartet which includes Agamemnon, written by Caroline Bird and directed by Christopher Haydon; Chorus, written by Chris Thorpe and directed by Elayce Ismail; Iphigenia by Suhayla El-Bushra and directed by Rebecca Hill and Clytemnestra by Lulu Raczka and directed by Jennifer Tang. In Agamemnon, Andrew French plays Agamemnon, Nigel Barratt plays Menelaus, Sharon Duncan-Brewster plays Clytemnestra and Louise McMenemy plays Messenger. The cast of Agamemnon will all play Voice in Chorus. In Iphigenia and Clytemnestra, Shannon Tarbet plays Iphigenia and Maid, Susie Trayling plays Clytemnestra and Professor, Dwane Walcott plays Achilles and Soldier and Anthony Barclay plays Agamemnon and Director. The Iphigenia Quartet opens at the Gate Theatre, on 3 May, with previews from 23 April, until 21 May. Agamemnon and Clytemnestra will play in rep with Iphigenia and Chorus as part of Nuclear: A Season about the Family.

English Touring Theatre and Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse today announce the full cast for the world premiere of their co-production of The Odyssey: Missing Presumed Dead. The production reunites Simon Armitage and Nick Bagnall after their recent collaborations on The Last Days of Troy and Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Nick Bagnall directs Lee Armstrong, Simon Dutton, Roger Evans, Polly Frame, David Hartley, Ranjit Krishnamma, Chris Reilly, Sule Rimi, Danusia Samal, Colin Tierney and Susie Trayling.
