A stunning celebration of the music of Birmingham legends Black Sabbath performed by the Birmingham Royal Ballet. The combination of heavy metal music with ballet may not seem an obvious one but here we are thanks to the direction of Carlos Acosta, who had the vision to celebrate Birmingham’s most popular musical exports, Black Sabbath, in this three-act ballet from Birmingham Royal Ballet.

New York City Ballet Principal Dancer RUSSELL JANZEN will give his final performance with New York City Ballet on September 24 at 3pm, dancing the principal role in “Diamonds” from George Balanchine's Jewels.

New York City Ballet Principal Dancer HARRISON BALL will give his final performance with New York City Ballet on Sunday, April 30, performing in George Balanchine’s Haiff Divertimento and Jerome Robbins’ Afternoon of a Faun.

In Icarus, choreographer Pontus Lidberg daringly inserts a queer heart into classic Greek myths. It is the last part of a trilogy, inspired by liminal beings in Greek mythology who are caught in the paradox of being both human and not human, but also neither. Too human to be animals, but not human enough to be accepted as such, they live outside the bounds of society.

Grammy Award-winning choir The Crossing gives the world premiere performance of Michael Gordon's Travel Guide to Nicaragua at Congregation Rodeph Shalom in Philadelphia, PA on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 7:00pm and the NYC premiere performance at Carnegie Hall's Zankel Hall on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 7:30pm. Avante-garde cellist Maya Beiser joins The Crossing for the long-awaited premieres, which were postponed due to the pandemic.

Entering its 37th season, Miami City Ballet has announced five new dancers to its company roster.  Joining MCB's roster of world-class dancers for the 22/23 Season is principal dancer Yuliia Moskalenko, who joins the company from the National Opera of Ukraine.
