Bill Acosta was known as the Man of 1,001 voices, headlining on the stages on the Las Vegas Strip, including the Luxor and Flamingo, and thousands of performances in many other venues. Bill passed away on Jan. 26, and a celebration of his life will be held at the Italian American Club on March 26.

Legendary singer-songwriter Barry Manilow's non-profit organization, the Manilow Music Project (www.manilowmusicproject.org) put more than $500,000 worth of musical instruments into the hands of 15 Clark County School District middle schools and high schools during a ceremony on Thursday, October 7 at Valley High School in Clark County, Nevada. Reinvigorating the school system's music program at a critical time of need; this is the single largest donation of its kind in Clark County history for a music program.
