Jarrett Poore

Jarrett holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre and a M.A. in Theatre with a concentration in Musical Theatre from The University of Central Florida. Born and raised in Central Florida, Jarrett has worked professionally as both an actor and teaching artist for the past seven years locally and nationally. Jarrett has sung on Broadway at Feinstein's/54 Below in an original cabaret, as well as performed in Chicago at the Underscore Theatre as part of the New Works Musical Theatre Festival. Locally, Jarrett has performed with The Orlando Shakespeare Theatre, the Orlando Repertory Theatre, and the Orlando Fringe Festival, as well as taking freelance work in film and television (including advertisements for local businesses, theme parks, and most recently, a rap music video). You can also find him making all sorts of magic at Universal Studios Florida year round in a variety of roles! Favorite credits: Toad (A Year with Frog and Toad); Gus the Platypus/Dad/Barnaby (Pete the Cat); Margaret/Tribe (HAIR), and Patsy (Spamalot). Currently, Jarrett has been working on crafting and editing original content on YouTube featuring the many talents of Central Florida Performers. He produly also serves as a Teaching Artist and private instructor so that he can nurture a love and respect for the theatre while providing a safe space for growth and play!
