New York Choral Society Celebrates 65 Years With THE UNICORN
In a landmark celebration of its 65th anniversary, the New York Choral Society has announced The Unicorn, an innovative and provocative theatrical production intertwining choral music, dance, and narrative, while offering a contemporary exploration of gender roles and LGBTQ themes.

The lyrical season will feature 12 titles, such as Turandot, by Busoni, Gianni Schicchi, by Puccini, Le Comte Ory, by Rossini, among others. A NIGHT OF SPIRITS Comes to Opera On Tap-Kansas City
At 7 pm on September 30th, 2023, Opera On Tap-Kansas City will present 'A Night of Spirits,' a seasonal event featuring a signature cocktail, appetizers and a performance of Gian Carlo Menotti's 1946 opera The Medium. Audience members will be invited to participate in a brief ghost tour of the venue, the historic St. Mary's Episcopal Church, between the acts of the opera.
Yorke Dance Project Reveals Premieres For Autumn
Yorke Dance Project, the contemporary ballet company run by Yolande Yorke-Edgell, has two major premieres this autumn: its film of Sea of Troubles, Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s ballet based on Hamlet, and a new mixed bill, California Connections, which pays tribute to three inspirational female choreographers – Isadora Duncan, Martha Graham and Bella Lewitzy.
