PETER AND THE STARCATCHER Will Premiere In Australia From 2024
Peter and the Starcatcher, the smash hit Broadway production and winner of 5 Tony Awards, will have its Australian Premiere, touring nationally from 2024. Originally developed by Disney Theatrical Group, written by Rick Elice (Jersey Boys, Adams Family), with music by Wayne Barker, this all-new production is directed by David Morton (Holding Achilles, The Wider Earth).
Broadway Musical FROZEN to Premiere in Singapore in 2023
The hit Broadway musical 'Frozen,' based on the Disney animated film and Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Snow Queen,” or more widely recognized for its anthem 'Let It Go,' makes its only stop in Southeast Asia, in Singapore, in 2023. Producer Disney Theatrical Productions and presenter Base Entertainment Asia have jointly announced this strictly limited engagement.
The World's #1 Musical Disney's THE LION KING Makes Final Stop In Korea
THE LION KING will open tonight in Busan at the Dream Theatre following record-breaking seasons in Seoul and Daegu. The excitement has been building for audiences from Busan and the surrounding cities for the landmark musical's arrival. For the very first time in this region of Korea, people can see a production of this scale and ticket sales have been unprecedented. The Busan season has already been extended to accommodate the huge demand, now closing on 26th May, which will be the final chance for Koreans to see the original Broadway production on home soil.

Director Julie Taymor made the importance of having the animals, which play a big part in the story, represented through costumes, masks, and puppets when it was first being put to the stage in 1997. Taymor also devised a concept to theatrically represent the story and heart of show on stage with what she called the 'double event.' The double event is the representation of the animals through the costumes, puppets, and masks, but still having the human or the actor visible to the audience.

Uno de sus personajes más emblemáticos es Rafiki, que en este vídeo nos muestra los cinco idiomas africanos que se hablan en la producción.
