Pontine Theatre Performs Donald Hall's CHRISTMAS SNOW
Pontine Theatre pays tribute to New Hampshire’s beloved poet, Donald Hall, with an original two-actor staging of his story, Christmas Snow, which first appeared in The New Yorker in December 1964. Hall writes of his 1938 holiday trip to Eagle Pond Farm, his grandparents’ home in Wilmot, NH, when he was ten years old.

2018 Titles Announced For University Press Of Kentucky New Poetry And Prose Series
The University Press of Kentucky and Centre College are pleased to announce the latest titles to be selected for the University Press of Kentucky New Poetry & Prose Series-Mend: Poems by Kwoya Fagin Maples and Amreekiya by Lena Mahmoud. These two selections will be published in the fall and mark the third year for the series. They were selected from hundreds of submissions and represent some of the most innovative and powerful work in contemporary American writing. Previous books in the series include Make Way for Her: And Other Stories by Katie Cortese, A Girl's A Gun: Poems by Rachel Danielle Peterson, The Price of Scarlet: Poems by Brianna Noll, and Insurrections: Stories by Rion Amilcar Scott, which won the 2017 PEN/Robert W. Donald Fagen --musician, composer, vocalist, producer, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and co-founder of Steely Dan and The Dukes of September-- has a new special project taking to the road this summer: Donald Fagen and The Nightflyers. Set to begin August 3, the U.S. tour leg will hit more than 20 cities before wrapping at The Masonic in San Francisco on Sept. 16. The tour includes a stop at Ruth Eckerd Hall on Wednesday, August 9 at 8 pm. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 28 at 10 am.
