 DanceWorks presents the premiere of the full-length Moving Parts by Denise Fujiwara, as part of the highly anticipated annual summer festival, Dusk Dances 2023. With its distinctive choreography, and captivating music, Moving Parts takes audiences on a journey through the many facets of human emotion and experience.

This spring, Young People’s Theatre will round out its 56th season with two productions available on demand: The In-Between for teens, by internationally-celebrated playwright Marcus Youssef (produced by Montreal’s Geordie Theatre), and Russell’s World for families – written and directed by YPT Artistic Director Herbie Barnes. Both productions are on sale April 19.

Presented on the Mainstage from April 17 to May 14, this funny, sweet and joyous collection of works by acclaimed children's author Robert Munsch will delight young theatergoers and adults alike.

A song of hope and change. Pacific Theatre is proud to present Valley Song by Athol Fugard, originally produced by The Gateway Theatre. When a nation undergoes sweeping reform, it's not just policy that has to change: it's people's lives that get caught in the struggle. In this inter-generational tale, set in the aftermath of apartheid in South Africa, the tension between old and new makes its way into the relationship between a young woman and her grandfather.

Red Snow Collective is proud to present the world premiere of Comfort, written by Canadian playwright and performer Diana Tso (Red Snow), and directed by William Yong (Zata Omm). Comfort, a poetic yet disturbing drama that features live music, innovative staging, and stylized movement, will be presented at the Aki Studio Theatre from November 24 - December 10, 2016.

A landmark in children's literature, this highly-interactive adaptation of the award-winning Maurice Sendak classic delighted sold-out audiences when last presented at YPT in 2005.
