Theatre Bay Area held its sixth-annual TBA Awards Celebration on Monday, November 4 at the Herbst Theatre. Featuring a a?oeradically inclusivea?? pricing structure, over 800 people attended the event, exceeding the previous year's attendance by nearly 20%.
Theatre Bay Area, one of the largest regional performing arts service organizations in North America, has announced the finalists of the 2019 TBA Awards. The sixth-annual TBA Awards Celebration will take place on Monday, Nov. 4 at the Herbst Theatre (401 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco).
Hillbarn Theatre, the Peninsula's premier theatre company, opens its 2019-20 season with the Beaumont 1987 version of the hilarious maritime musical, Anything Goes. Steve Silver's Beach Blanket Babylon, the world's longest running musical revue, will be featured on 'Good Morning America' (GMA) when they televise live from San Francisco's Union Square on Thursday, December 3, 2009 as part of the ABC network holiday promotion 'Sam Champion Lights Up America.' The live broadcast, from 4 - 6 a.m. (PST), will be re-run locally at its regularly scheduled time of 7- 9 a.m. (PST). Bay Area residents are encouraged to be part of the national television broadcast and be in Union Square by 4 a.m. and say, 'Good Morning America!'
