Collaboraction Theatre Company will launch its 2019-20 mainstage season at Kennedy-King College (KKC) at 63rd and Halsted in the college's 292-seat, state-of-the-art mainstage theater, with its fourth annual Peacebook Festival, Thursday through Saturday, August 15-17.

Due to popular demand, The Trap Door Theatre is extending The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui for one week only, through Saturday, April 29, 2017.

Written in 1941, Bertolt Brecht's compelling parable The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui is a savage satire of social and political corruption.

Trap Door Theatre will present The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, written by Bertolt Brecht and translated by George Tabori and Alistair Beaton. Directed by Victor Quezada-Perez, the production will run March 16 - April 22, 2017.

Lauded the world over for his eloquent playing and superb musicianship, Taiwanese-American violinist Cho-Liang Lin joins Pacific Symphony to kick off the New Year by serving as both conductor and featured soloist for a superb program that includes both Mozart's brilliantly figured Violin Concerto No. 4 and his grand and festive 'Haffner' Symphony, considered one of his great symphonic achievements.

GRAFFITO, Soft Cage Films NFP's sophomore production, documents a revolutionary street graffiti artist in Chicago. As he wages a war of aesthetics against the capitalists, unexpected romance threatens to ruin the film. Shot primarily in the Logan Square, Avondale and Bucktown areas with local actors, crew and many iconic Chicago locations, GRAFFITO presents contemporary issues surrounding living and working as a radical artist in Chicago. The film was shot over the last 6 months and seeks to showcase a cross section of the vital and vibrant Chicago artistic community.
