The Actors Gymnasium is proud to announce THE GHOST IN GADSDEN'S GARDEN, an original circus theatre production. It is written and directed by Chris Matthews and Sully Ratke, with circus choreography by Artistic Director Sylvia Hernandez-DiStasi. The show features Lucy Carapetyan, Adrian Danzig, and Hayley Larson, as well as members of the Gym's Teen Ensemble.

Full cast and production team were announced today for the Equity-affiliated Citadel Theatre Company's production of PETER AND THE STARCATCHER.  The fantasy-comedy by Rick Elice, author of JERSEY BOYS, THE ADDAMS FAMILY and THE CHER SHOW, imagines how Peter Pan might have become lost in Neverland, PETER AND THE STARCATCHER's Broadway production was nominated for nine Tony Awards (including Best Play) and won five.

Adventure Stage Chicago (ASC), the participatory arts program of Northwestern Settlement (the Settlement), announces its 15th season of programming for young audiences, exploring the challenges of 'hunger,' both literal and metaphorical, as the company applies its mission of telling heroic stories to the Settlement objective of disrupting generational poverty.

Chicago Opera Theater (COT) presents 'Il Pigmalione' & 'Rita,' a double-bill that spans the life and career of one of opera's premier bel canto composers, Gaetano Donizetti. The two works will be woven together to create a cohesive theatrical production featuring the talents of Javier Abreu (Pigmalione/Beppe), Angela Mortellaro (Galatea/Rita) and Keith Phares (Gasparo). Donizetti's first work and one of his last, are presented together as an exploration of love, fantasy and the blurry lines between them. The double bill is conducted by Francesco Milioto, directed by Amy Hutchison with movement by physical theater expert Adrian Danzig. The opening night and main press performance will take place on Saturday, April 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the historic Studebaker Theater (410 S. Michigan). Additional performances will take place on Friday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 22 at 3 p.m.

The Neo-Futurists announce spring happenings at The Neo-Futurarium with added Sunday performances from Kurt Chiang and Lily Mooney's The Arrow, an extension of the critically acclaimed Prime Time production of Leah Urzendowski and Anthony Courser's The? Unicorn? Hour? and special presentations of the ongoing The Infinite Wrench at Steppenwolf's Summer LookOut Series and during Pride Week. All performances are at The Neo-Futurarium, 5153 N. Ashland Ave. (at Foster) in Andersonville, unless otherwise noted.
