URINETOWN THE MUSICAL - Winter Springs Performing Arts

AUDITIONS for Urinetown the Musical

Music by Mark Hollmann, Lyrics by Mark Hollmann and Greg Kotis, Book by Greg Kotis,

ALL ROLES OPEN. SEEKING Actor/Singers 18+ (no longer in high school)

Winter Springs Performing Arts is holding auditions for their inaugural community theatre production featuring performers over the age of 18+ (no longer in high school). *If you are under the age of 18, please visit our website at
www.winterspringsarts.org for audition opportunities through our educational theatre.*

URINETOWN takes place in a time of desperation and desolation. A massive water shortage (caused by a twenty year drought) means that private toilets have been outlawed and the public now have to pay “for the privilege to pee”. These public amenities, as they’re known, are run by the evil Urine Good Company (or UGC) headed up by the villainous Caldwell B. Cladwell. If citizens relieve themselves in public or refuse to pay the fee, they’re sent to the infamous Urinetown.
