Join us at Bellissimo Theatre Company for an exciting opportunity as we commence the audition process for our upcoming production, Into The Woods. We invite you to be prepared to sing and be ready for a cold read, subject to the discretion of the director. While video auditions are accepted, we strongly encourage in-person attendance. Auditions will be at the Theater in Roswell GA. Call Backs will be at our rehearsal space in Cumming GA.
Rehearsals are scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, commencing in Cumming GA on June 10th until tech week. During tech week, rehearsals will be held every evening in Roswell GA. Performances are scheduled for the evening of August 9th, with a two-show day on August 10th and a matinee on August 11th. The same performance schedule will be repeated on August 16th-18th. all performances are at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center.

Synopsis
Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim Book by James Lapine The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results. One of Sondheim's most popular works, Into the Woods is a musically sophisticated show with the opportunity to feature actors adept at dark comedy.
