Hamlet Isn’t Dead continues its mission of performing intimate, immediate theatre with an all-female Troilus & Cressida set to the background of the drums of war. Seeking an ensemble of actors and percussionists, hand-to-hand combat training and/or dance backgrounds a plus.
Hamlet Isn’t Dead encourages performers of all ethnicities, gender identities, and ages, as well as performers with disabilities, to submit. Please note, the script has been updated to use she/her pronouns, so actors should be comfortable performing using these descriptors.
In line with the show’s militaristic themes, this will be a very physically-engaging show. Performers with fight choreography experience strongly encouraged to apply. Some tracks have the capability to be Actor/Musician, or solely Musician, so experienced Percussionists strongly encouraged to apply.
Auditions by appointment only on July 20, July 21. Email casting@hamletisntdead.com with your headshot/resume. Short clips of percussion/fight experience are encouraged as well, but not required.
