The Lyric Theatre Singers Seeking
New Voices for their 25th Season!
The Lyric Theatre Singers’ musical directors, Bob Bachelor and Chris Barillaro, are seeking new members to join in September 2014. Those who are passionate about music, musical theatre,Broadway and who LOVE to sing are invited to book their audition today. This is the perfect opportunity to be part of Montreal’s premiere Broadway vocal ensemble, a group of multi-talented individuals who are passionate about performing to the maximum of their abilities. Candidates should have good stage presence, reading music is not necessary although it is a welcome asset. Rehearsals are held in English and French every Monday and some Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 10:00 PM in Montreal-West. Additional information regarding the rehearsal and concert schedule will be provided before the audition date.
In advance of their audition candidates are asked to…
? Prepare a song from the Broadway repertoire
? Find and bring the piano sheet music in the correct key as no transposition will be possible. An
accompanist will be provided, no taped music will be accepted
? Bring a photo, the size or style is not important, it will help the team remember them
? Bring a copy of their artistic CV with including singing experience in choirs or musicals.

About The Lyric Theatre
The Lyric Theatre is a long-standing producer and promoter of musical theatre in the Montreal area. What
began in 1965 with a vision of a community based group presenting an annual stage production on the West Island has, thanks to the creation of The Lyric Theatre Singers in 1990, grown into a company of performers from all areas of the city. The Singers rehearse and perform 10 months out of every year, presenting their Broadway revues as well as Christmas concerts. The Lyric Theatre is looking forward to celebrating 50 years of great performances in 2015.
