Lobby will open at 9 a.m. You may come the day of the audition and sign up.

Prepare a brief contemporary monologue no more than 2 minutes in length.

Bring picture and resume, stapled together.

Leonard

40 - 60. A literary guru with a penchant for harsh criticism, reckless and brilliant.

Kate

20s - 30s. An earnest Bennington grad who is good-natured and, at times, self-effacing; an ambitious writer trying to please and to prove herself.

Douglas

late 20s to early 30s. A well-connected, swaggering, patrician man with high standards; a writer who has enjoyed early success.

Martin

late 20s to 30s. Smart, talented, self-conscious writer. Turning cynical.

Izzy

20s - 30s. Cunning, sexy, free-spirited woman and an opportunistic writer. Asian American.
