Citizens of the Universe announces auditions for Shakespeare’s Macbeth and Beckett’s Waiting for Godot! April 25 and 26th at the Library Speakeasy behind Lilo’s. 7 until 10pm. All auditions are cold readings and simple exercises.

We will accept video audtions through Thursday at noon. For info how, contact cotutheatre23@gmail.com.

The Library is located on the K st side of 710 Lake Ave, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33460.

Waiting for Godot is a tragicomedy in two acts by Irish writer Samuel Beckett. It is a play in which characters engage in a variety of discussions and encounters while awaiting the titular Godot, who never arrives.

Waiting for Godot will play at the Library, June 15th-17th and 22nd- 24th.

All characters being auditioned:

Vladimir
Estragon
Pozzo
Lucky
Boy

Macbeth is Shakespeare’s tragic spectacle of prophecy and blood whose drama shows the damaging physical and psychological effects of political ambition on those who seek power.
Part of the new Shakespeare on the Ave event, Macbeth will be performed Macbeth at the old Shuffle Board courts located next to Hatch 1121, Aug 17th– 20th and 24th-27th.

All roles are open for this audition!

Shakespeare on the Ave looks to be a yearly showing of two Shakespeare events on each side of the Lake Worth Beach corridor.
