AUDITION NOTICE - Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

The Candlelight Theatre will present Dirty Rotten Scoundrels January 20 – February 25, 2018. Book by Jeffrey Lane, Music and Lyrics by David Yazbek.

Sunday, October 15: 6:30 sign-in.

Monday and Tuesday, October 23 and 24 6:30 sign-in
The Candlelight Theater

Please prepare 32 bars showing range and in the style of the show and be prepared to dance. Please bring music in your key, an accompanist will be provided. Please come with headshot and resume stapled together.

Rehearsals will begin (approximately) November 14th . Performances January 20th – February 25th. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
Also scheduled: 1 Wednesday evening, December 20th, Thursday evening – February 22nd , 2 Wednesday matinees - January 31st and February 14th. All roles open and paid. Restaurant opportunities available.

Lawrence Jamison - Male 30's-50's An experienced British con artist. Sophisticated, suave, elegant. Good with accents. Tenor - G2-Bb4

Freddy Benson - Male - 20's-30's A young inexperienced but clever aspiring con artist. American. High Energy. A womanizer. Tenor A2-B4

Christine Colgate - Female - 20's-40's A seemingly good-natured American heiress vacationing on the French Riviera. Harbors a big secret. Transforms from naive and clueless to cunning and mischevious. Mezzo A3-F#5

Andre Thibault - Male - 30's-50's Chief of police. and Lawrence's French assistant. Businesslike personna with a quirky sense of humor. Bari-tenor F2-F4

Muriel Eubanks - Female 30's-50's Wealthy socialite. American. One of Lawrence's victims and Andre's love interest. Alto E3-C5

Jolene Oakes - Female - 20's-30's American oil heiress who has won the lottery. Eager, optimistic and energetic. Southern accent. Alto A3-D5

Male/Female supporting and ensemble roles.
