The South Florida Premiere of the viral Broadway musical sensation. Area Stage’s production will be performed by a tight ensemble of actors. Need a creative crew of artists who are willing to get their hands dirty to experiment with props, experimental staging, and new theatrical devices.
We are excited to announce that, as a new community partner of The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, Be More Chill will have its South East Premiere at the beautiful Carnival Studio Theatre starting February 2022.
Jeremy Heere is just an average teenager. That is until he finds out about The Squip, a tiny supercomputer that promises to bring him everything he desires most: a date with Christine, an invite to the raddest party of the year, and a chance to survive life in his suburban New Jersey high school. But is being the most popular guy in school worth the risk? Be More Chill is based on the hit YA novel by Ned Vizzini.
