FAQ

When do you rehearse?

B.U.M.P. rehearses on a 4/2 schedule Thursdays from 8 to 10pm either at Improv Asylum or in Union Square. That means four rehearsals in a row, followed by a two week break. Rehearsals are mandatory.

Dirty Disney rehearses the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 7pm to 10pm in Central Square, Cambridge.

Kerplunk! requires an initial rehearsal process then rehearsals are called as needed with monthly check-ins.

Are shows paid?

Yes. Rates differ based on the show and how long you've been with the show. Rehearsals are not paid. Applicants should really be auditioning because they love this kind of performance and we make as many efforts as possible to respect you as a performer whether you do this for fun or are trying to be a professional performer in Boston.

When do shows perform?

Show schedules vary with each show, but going into 2017 we are looking at performing regularly at The Rockwell the 2nd and 4th weekends* of the month.

  • B.U.M.P. at Fridays a 9:30pm*
  • Dirty Disney Fridays at 11pm*
  • Kerplunk! Saturdays at 11am*

Dirty Disney also performs at Laugh Boston and B.U.M.P. and Kerplunk! can perform corporate shows as well as they come up.
