AN EVENING AT THE MOULIN ROUGE - Unitarian Universalist Congregation of York

ATTENTION SINGERS/DANCERS/PERFORMERS OF ALL VARIETIES

We are putting together the first annual fundraiser to raise money for EqualityFest and an additional non-profit in York every year! For 2016, Centro Hispano (formerly The Spanish American Center) will be sharing the raised funds.

Each year a different theme will be chosen and this year it's An Evening at the Moulin Rouge!

The event will be held Saturday, June 4th from 5pm-12am at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 925 S. George Street York, PA 17403.*

We are looking for singers, jugglers, acrobats, mimes, actors, and any other interesting street acts for our pre-show entertainment. For our mainstage production we are looking for strong singers and dancers.

Auditions will be held Sunday, March 6th from 5pm-7pm AND Monday March 7th from 5pm-7pm at the church. You only need to come to ONE of those days; you do not need to attend both nights.

Singers please come prepared to sing approximately 16 bars of a song that shows your range. A CD player will be provided for background tracks or you may sing a capella. We will NOT have an accompanist.

We will have a short dance routine prepared to teach you so please dress to move.

If you are showcasing another talent for our pre-show street performance please arrive promptly at 5pm as we will try to see you first.

If you have any questions, please email them to UnitedWePartyYork@gmail.com.

This is a wonderful opportunity to share your talents with the community for a great cause. Hope to see you there!
