ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT - Prime Stage Theatre

Director Scott P. Calhoon is casting eight (8) diverse non-equity actors and actresses for All Quiet on the Western Front. Seeking actors who can play multiple roles. (Skills with harmonica, piano, and/or accordian are desired for some roles.) Please see the character list below for details of casting. Actors should prepare one monologue, no longer than one minute, as the character it was written for. In addition, actors should prepare the same monologue as a uniquely different character than that it was written for, paying attention to detail in vocal changes, posture/movement, etc. Please bring a resume and a headshot with you to the audition.

Auditions are by appointment but walk-ins will be taken if time allows. Please email auditions@primestage.com between Monday, August 7, 2017 and Friday, August 25, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. to request an appointment. Please include your full name, phone number, and preferred audition date and time. You will receive an email confirming your appointment date and time within 24-48 hours. Please note that auditions are scheduled in five minute time slots.

Rehearsals will begin September 17, 2017 and will be held at the Prime Stage Studio, 840 Saw Mill Run Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15220. Performances are November 3-12, 2017 at The New Hazlett Theater. In addition to public performances, there are four student matinees scheduled at 10:00 AM on November 7, 8, 9, and 10, 2017.

Six male actors (15-30)
One male actor (50-55)
One female actor (16-25)

All actors will also play other roles, including teachers, officers, orderlies, doctors, patients, soldiers, mothers, sisters, nuns, French women, etc.
