Auditions for the the TUTT summer tour of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, directed by Michelle Denise Norton, will be held Wednesday, May 22nd and Thursday, May 23rd, at St. John's Episcopal Church, 140 N. Beaver St, York, PA 6:30 p.m. start on both days. We are looking for actors, singers, dancers, and crew members. Our goal: a DIVERSE, cohesive team serious about comedy and Shakespeare. Our mood: Serious Moonlight/Bowie and Blues; Lost in Love/Marital Mischief ; ) No preparation is required for auditions and there will be a few roles for younger children (age 8+), but most are for teen and adult actors.
Performances will be held throughout York County, July 19th - July 28th, performances begin at 6:30 p.m, unless noted:
July 19: Gifford Pinchot State Park
July 20: TBA
July 21: Cousler Park, Manchester Township
July 23: John Rudy County Park
July 25: TBA
July 26: William Kain County Park, Lake Redman stage
July 27: Codorus State Park, bandshell
July 28: matinee at St. John Episcopal Church, 3 p.m.
TUTT (The Upstart Twilight Theatre) is the touring branch of Upstart Arts, an all volunteer non profit theatrical collective.
