When literary editor Alice Murphy meets a young soldier just home from World War II, he awakens her longing for the child she once lost. It debuted on Broadway in 2016, featuring a Grammy-nominated score that blends bluegrass and Americana. The show, notable for its heartfelt storytelling and original score, received five Tony nominations, including Best Musical, and highlighted the talents of Carmen Cusack in her Broadway debut.
