This feels like something with sights on Broadway for Spring 2025 or a future season, considering the people involved (Sonia Friedman, Smith-Cameron, Rylance, Warchus)! But if it does come to Broadway, I hope BroadwayWorld changes their auto-censor for god's sake.
Always notable when an American plays a British or Irish role on the West End, too. I'm sure there'll be some complaints across the pond that none of those people are Irish-born, but that shouldn't matter to American audiences.
Smith-Cameron previously played Juno at the Irish Rep in 2013, where Charles Isherwood called it "one of the finest performances of her distinguished career on the New York stage...the Irish accent is impeccable."
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I'm thrilled that she's working so much more now thanks to her TV success.
Now what will it take to get her husband to write & direct another movie!! (ideally with her starring in it)
