"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

Obviously selling very well.  Got mine when the first subscription series went on sale, along with Jinx Monsoon and Pink Martini. Now that the new "Pick your Own 4" subscriptions are onsale, most of the front half of the floor seats are gone.  But...............

We can assume that there is some inventory being held back for single ticket presales and general public onsales.  Exactly how many and what locations is anyone's guess, but most venues do 'hold' tickets back and suddenly make them available at each 'on sale' date.

Good luck, and if you get seats near row D, say hi!!!!!

She was magnificent last night in Morristown, NJ at the Mayo Performing Arts Center!  I've seen her in several shows (Song and Dance, Gypsy, Annie Get Your Gun, Follies, and Hello, Dolly! twice, plus the Jerry Herman memorial), but never in concert until last night.

It is mind-boggling to think she is 76 years old!  That body, that ease of movement on stage, and glorious communication of classic Broadway songs...hilarious take on Peggy Lee's "Fever", terrific stories, she sounded a little bit hoarse in a couple of spots, but sailed right past, and floated high notes with tremulous beauty...I'm so glad I saw her this way!

My personal opinion is that while it was a bit of a shock to some of her fans/public about where her voice went from approx 2003-2011 in particular she has managed to minimise decline from 2018 onwards and her vocal ability is stunning in the context of her age (appearance and energy too). Until she was injured, she did a full kick line in Old Friends and was working very hard on that show. I genuinely think she loves performing and gives it her all every time she walks on a stage. We are lucky we can continue experiencing it and I don’t take it for granted that Bernadette (and Patti et al) are not easily replaced or seen today. Very special performers.
