Jerry Adler has maybe one of the most varied theatrical journeyman careers of the past 75 years, ranging from stage managing the original productions of MY FAIR LADY, GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES, and COCO; directing or re-staging a dozen Broadway shows and tours (several of which lasted less than a month); lead-produced the legendary 60s flop DRAT! THE CAT with Lesley Ann Warren & Elliott Gould; and a pivot to acting later in life with memorable roles on THE SOPRANOS, MAD ABOUT YOU, and GOOD WIFE.
His 240-page memoir (brief by Streisand standards) is due out May 21.
