The world premiere production of the brand new musical comedy Bullets Over Broadway, written by Woody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film, will begin preview performances tomorrow, March 11 and officially open Thursday, April 10, 2014 at The St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street). Patrick Swayze made his debut in the West End revival of Guys and Dolls as marriage-dodging gambler Nathan Detroit. Swayze made his Broadway debut as Danny in Grease, has also appeared on Broadway in Goodtime Charley and Chicago (as well as in that show's tour).
Patrick Swayze has lost his long battle with cancer. The actor's family was at his side for his passing.
