Miya Folick has announced that she will support UK artist The Japanese House on select dates this summer. Joe Tracz, writer of Be More Chill and The Lightning Thief musical, has joined the second season of the Netflix series One Piece. Tracz will be working with Matt Owens, co-showrunner and writer of Season 1, as writer, executive producer and co-showrunner. Tracz previously worked with Netflix as a writer and producer on Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events and Dash & Lily. Most recently, Tracz worked as a writer for the Disney+ adaptation of Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

Following yesterday's social media tease, BroadwayWorld can confirm Rachel Zegler (Steven Spielberg's West Side Story) and Kit Connor (Netflix's Heartstopper) will star as Juliet and Romeo respectively in a revival of William Shakespeare's most famous play on Broadway this fall.

According to reports, Don Johnson will be appearing alongside Joshua Jackson in an upcoming drama from Ryan Murphy, co-creator of Glee. Other than the title- Dr. Odyssey- few details about the show have been announced. including the plot or Johnson's role. The series will be produced by ABC, with aims to premiere during the 2024-25 season. Reports indicate that it will likely be a medical procedural.

Harris Center for The Arts will present THE CHER SHOW – A New Musical, performing five times, May 9-12, with Thursday-Saturday evening performances at 7:30pm, and Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00pm.

 International sensation The Choir of Man has announced the extension of its Chicago production due to popular demand! The cast of Chicago area natives and all-star The Choir of Man veterans direct from the UK will now entertain audiences through July 14, 2024, at the Apollo Theate at 2550 N Lincoln Avenue in Chicago.

Dusty Slay is bringing The Nightshift Tour to the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center. The performance is set for April 12, 2024.
