Finnish National Opera orchestra celebrates the 50th anniversary on a guest appearance at the Helsinki Music Centre. The venue will play host to a production of Richard Strauss's late masterpiece opera never performed in Finland before. One of the world's leading Strauss sopranos, Soile Isokoski gives a dazzling performance in the incredibly demanding title role. The pastoral opera will be conducted by Susanna Mälkki.
