Two million people call the Khayelitsha (the Xhosa word for 'new home') in South Africa home. The Township is plagued by endless power cuts, but nothing can get in the way of the rhythm and energy.

Dozens of acrobats, dancers, and musicians from seven African nations blend spectacular circus feats, shimmering costumes, and jaw-dropping dance, to bring the pulse of daily life in Khayelitsha to the West End.

Utah Film Center Announces 2019 'Damn These Heels' Film Lineup

Utah Film Center announced today the feature films selected for the 16th annual Damn These Heels Film Festival and new elements to the Festival for film lovers, filmmakers, and all storytellers. Damn These Heels will run July 12 - 14, 2019 at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center and is a festival for all that explores LGBTQ issues, ideas, and art through independent, documentary, and foreign films from around the world. Passes and tickets are now on sale on the Utah Film Center's website. Additional titles will be announced on the website leading up to the Festival.

Directed by industry professionals, the summer season marks the final productions of LAMDA's graduating acting and technical students as they prepare to embark on their professional careers. LAMDA graduates have gone on to enjoy illustrious careers on stage, screen and behind the scenes, with alumni including Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Ruth Wilson and David Oyelowo.
