Rose joined a band that will include Tedd Firth on keys, Martin Wind on bass, Warren Odze on drums, Bernd Schoenhart on guitar, Roger Squitero on percussion, Mike Davis on trombone, Aaron Heick on sax, and C.J. Camerieri on trumpet.

Valencia's Symphonic Band, under the direction of Mike Davis, and Jazz Lab Band, with direction by Chris Dolske, will perform at the East Campus Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Musical selections will include de Meij's program symphony 'Lord of the Rings' inspired by the J.R.R. Tolkien novel, a Louis Armstrong tribute, and popular standards such as Billie Holiday's 'God Bless the Child' and Frank Sinatra's 'Fly Me to the Moon' sung by student vocalists.

The theater has already had two successful runs of the musical journey through the Woodstock Festival as well as a free, outdoor performance of the show, which drew over three thousand people. Due to popular demand, the producers at Shadowbox Live decided to bring it back for a third run this fall.
