Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) is open for writer submissions to the Writer-Director (Virtual) Communications Lab, held on Zoom from 12 to 6:30pm on Sunday 11/12.

Producers John Lant and Tamra Pica have announced that a film adaptation of their Off-Broadway hit musical, Frankenstein, by Eric B. Sirota, will be released and available to stream beginning Memorial Day weekend 2023, on StreamingMusicals.com. 

Write Act Repertory will present the world premiere of Not/Now, written by Darrin Yalacki and directed by Amanda Blake Davis (Folk Wandering, Clown Bar), produced with Anne Mesa and John Lant.

PIECE OF MIND, a play by playwright Emma Wood, will be performed by Write Act Rep from December 10th, 2022 – January 29th, 2023, at the Brickhouse Theatre in North Hollywood. Producers Markus Ferraro and John Lant announced the cast for XIMER (pronounced “shimmer”), their new Off-Broadway concept musical. The show will debut at the American Theatre of Actors (314 West 54th Street, New York City) from October 19 – 30.
