The Argyle Theatre to Present BEAUTY AND THE BEAST in November

The Argyle Theatre will present Disney’s Beauty and The Beast, directed by Evan Pappas, choreographed and co-directed by Debbie Roshe with musical direction by Jonathan Brenner. It will perform from November 10, 2022, through January 1, 2023; the opening night will be celebrated on Saturday, November 12, 2022.
Cast and Dates Announced for 2021 National Tour of A CHRISTMAS STORY, THE MUSICAL

Returning for the 2021 holiday season, Big League Productions, Inc. has announced the tour dates and cast of the critically acclaimed national tour of A Christmas Story, The Musical. The tour will open for preview performances in Waterbury, CT, followed by a two-week sit down in Boston, and engagements in Baltimore and Durham, NC.

The show has announced casting for a 19-city holiday tour that launches November 26 in Newberry, SC and has tour stops in Denver, Albuquerque, Stamford, and Akron. National Tour Dancers Recreate Famous Fred Estaire and Eleanor Powell Video

Elish Conlon (White Christmas Natl. Tour) and Tim Fuchs (42nd Street Natl. Tour) teamed up to recreate and film the Jukebox Dance from the classic movie Broadway Melody of the 1940's with Fred Astaire and Eleanor Powell. With the help of Katharine Ponza (Tap dance faculty at Broadway Dance Center), Elish learned the dance and taught it to Tim. They both then re-imagined the dance to fit their original concept. This video is meant to honor the directors, performers, behind the scenes crew and highlight the brilliant choreography that made those movies magical. Filmed at the Tarrytown Music Hall, Tarrytown NY. Elish, Tim, Sierra, and Tyler want wish everyone a Happy New year full of blessings!
Drunk Musicals to Premiere WASTED: THE UNTOLD STORY OF SOME DRUNK BITCHES FROM OZ

Drunk Musicals, a new cabaret series, is premiering their new show, Wasted: The Untold Story of Some Drunk Bitches From Oz. It's an amazing parody musical with insanely talented actors who get wasted and try to do a parody of a show. There will be games, there will be singing, and of course, there will be alcohol! This night is guaranteed to be a fun one and is one night only!
SENSE AND SENSIBILITY Opens 7/21 at Marian Theatre

Sense and Sensibility is the journey of two sisters discovering the balance between rationalism and romanticism while finding their way to personal power and a real understanding of what love truly means. Jane Austen's romantic comedy adapted for the stage by Joseph Hanreddy and J.R. Sullivan (Pride and Prejudice) plays in the Marian Theatre July 21 - 30, then transfers to the Solvang Festival Theater and runs from August 5 - 21.

Wells Fargo Center for the Arts Announces Performances Featuring Colbie Caillat, Alex & Sierra and O.A.R., September 2014

Today, Wells Fargo Center for the Arts announced two new performances in September at the Ruth Finley Person Theater (50 Mark West Springs Road, Santa Rosa), including the Center's first performance utilizing the new flexible theater configuration made possible by the venue's 2013 renovation. Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat with special guests Alex & Sierra will perform Saturday, September 20. Then, on Tuesday, September 30, for the first time ever, the theater will transform, creating space for an even larger audience, for the band O.A.R. Last year's $3.3 million renovation resulted in a newly-flexible venue, where main floor seats can be removed, creating an open-floor venue that allows for an increased variety of performances. In this open-floor, seated balcony configuration, the venue's capacity increases from 1681 to 2023.

Come and experience the greatest English language play ever written - Shakespeare's sublime story of treachery and revenge, The Tragedy of Hamlet, the Prince of Denmark. Hamlet teeters on the edge of madness when he learns his uncle has killed his father and married his mother. Hamlet plays in the Marian Theatre February 13 - March 2, 2014.
