Theatre Communications Group has announced THRIVE! Week 2023, a 4-day virtual convening to uplift the leadership and wisdom of U.S.-based Black, Indigenous, and Theatres of Color (BITOC*).

Artist Series Concerts of Sarasota will present 26 concerts during its 28th season, Stars Ascending. The season – sponsored by Ernie Kretzmer – runs from October 1, 2023 through May 14, 2024 and offers a diverse range of intimate musical experiences featuring emerging and established classical, jazz, pops, and chamber artists presented at eight venues throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties.

The Asian American Arts Alliance (A4) has announced the launch of The Amp, an online magazine celebrating Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) arts and culture.

The six candidates that have reached the final round will not be competing for rankings.

Now in its sixth year, APAV serves to showcase cinematic storytellers of AAPI descent, awarding the top three winners with cash prizes and the opportunity to have their projects premiere on HBO Max following their theatrical screening at the 2022 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.
