Dancer/choreographer Deborah Zall, a well known dramatic dancer and choreographer trained at the Martha Graham School passed away of pneumonia on December 11th in New York City.

The Sokolow Theater/Dance Ensemble is proud to present Modern Rebels, a collection of rarely seen dances ranging from the groundbreaking works of modern dance pioneers Isadora Duncan, Doris Humphrey, Ruth St. Denis, Anna Sokolow, Talley Beatty, and Jane Dudley, to contemporary artists whose artistic lineage is a direct continuation of modern dance tradition.   Two performances, May 29 & 30, at The Tank, 312 West 36th Street.  

Winifred Haun & Dancers will present a free Spring Open Rehearsal on April 10  as part of Chicago Dance Month.  The Open Rehearsal will feature new works by Sandra Kaufmann, Esoteric Dance Project, and Company Dancers Timothy Bowser and Rebekah Kuczma.

Kanopy Dance Company will present to Madison audiences the imaginative performances, choreography and staging by world renown former Martha Graham Company Principal Dancers and dance masters.

Martha Graham:Reverence will run at the Overture Center for the Arts November 15-17, with a schedule of Friday 7:30pm, Sat 7 & 9pm, Sun 2:30pm

The Indiana University Contemporary Dance Program will restage Martha Graham's 'Panorama' in January with the help of a $10,000 award from Dance/USA and the National Endowment for the Arts.
