Odyssey Theatre Ensemble will present the fifth annual Dance at the Odyssey festival, a seven-week celebration of contemporary dance featuring new work by cutting edge companies and choreographers including L.A. Contemporary Dance Company; Primera Generación Dance Collective; choreographer Teresa Toogie Barcelo and more.

'The Only Constant' is a very interesting, provocative dance piece. It is a 55-minute piece, and the stamina needed to perform this work is exceptional. The dancers are uniformly strong and have a full understanding of the intent. This has been in development for a few years and is the work of Genevieve Carson, whose work is known for addressing the human condition. In this piece, she deals with how we affect and interact with one another, one thing leads to another and the fine line between composure and chaos. The style is Reactive; choreography and story line wise. The movement dictated the story line and the emotions felt were as a reaction to that movement. A part of 'Dance At The Odyssey 2019,' produced by Barbara Mueller-Wittman and Beth Hogan, it is a part of celebrating contemporary dance works created by Los Angeles Artists.

Buck, the first woman to win both the Nobel and the Pulitzer Prizes, will have its world premiere at the David H. Five years ago, a little girl named Sam Jennings was kidnapped in the wintertime on a cold day and taken from a plaza just a couple of cities away. Authorities ended up finding the girl on the side of the road in the country an hour away from where she was taken but the man that took her was never found. Eight-year-old Mandy Coefield was also reported missing in Sheldon Township. She was last seen walking home from school.
