Manhattan Theatre Club has announced full casting and performance dates for the Broadway premiere of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Cost of Living, written by Martyna Majok (Sanctuary City, Ironbound) and directed by Obie Award winner Jo Bonney (72 Miles to Go..., By The Way, Meet Vera Stark).

Prolific stage and screen actor Joseph Siravo (Oslo, The Light in the Piazza) is celebrated and remembered in the most recent episode of The Voracious Student podcast.

Pickering, is a British, actress and writer. She began writing for theatre in 2018, at Primitive Grace Theatre Ensemble, with artistic directors Paul Calderon and David Zayas, also co-founding members of New York LAByrinth Theatre. In 2020, Pickering was accepted as a member of The League of Professional Theatre Women, as well as The International Centre of Female Playwrights.

Full casting has been announced for NY Classical Theatre's staged reading of Carlyle Brown's drama The African Company Presents Richard III, which will be performed on two nights in March in Harlem and midtown.

Casting is now complete for the world premiere of A City of Refuge, written and directed by Evan Cuyler-Louison. The Primitive Grace Theatre Ensemble (Paul Calderon and David Zayas, Co-Founding Artistic Directors) production, set at the peak of the often-overlooked Washington Heights riots of 1992, will play The Center at West Park (165 W. 86th Street, between Columbus and Amsterdam) for a limited engagement from December 4-22. Over 25 years after the often-overlooked Washington Heights riots of 1992, Primitive Grace Theatre Ensemble (Paul Calderon and David Zayas, Co-Founding Artistic Directors) will stage a portrait of the neighborhood at a breaking point in A City of Refuge. Evan Cuyler-Louison's site-specific new play, set in a deconsecrated sanctuary as the church prepares to close its doors, will play the church-turned-performance space The Center at West Park (165 W. 86th Street, between Columbus and Amsterdam) for a limited engagement from December 4-22.

59E59 Theaters will welcome the NY premiere of EVERYTHING IS SUPER GREAT, written by Stephen Brown and directed by Sarah Norris. Produced by New Light Theater Project and Stable Cable Lab Co. in a co-world premiere in conjunction with Theatre Lab FAU, EVERYTHING IS SUPER GREAT begins performances on Friday, November 22 for a limited engagement through Saturday, December 14. Press Opening is Tuesday, November 26 at 7:30 pm. The performance schedule is Tuesday a?" Friday at 7:30 pm; Saturday at 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm; Sunday at 2:30 pm. Please note, there are no performances on Wednesday, November 27 and Thursday, November 28; and no matinee performance on Saturday, December 7. New Light Theater Project presents the world premiere of THE GREAT NOVEL, written by Amina Henry and directed by Sarah Norris. Part of The Flea's Anchor Program, THE GREAT NOVEL begins performances on Friday, June 7 for a limited engagement through Saturday, June 29. 

Two of history's most famous biblical figures, King Herod the Great and Roman Governor Pontius Pilate, will be played by women in the Easter drama, The Rope and The Cross, to be staged at the New Vibe Lounge in Rockville Centre Long Island on Easter Sunday, April 21.
