The Hollywood Walk of Fame class of 2021 will include some familiar faces to those of us in the theatre community. Among those who will receive stars are August Wilson, Sarah Brightman, Laura Linney, and Luciano Pavarotti.

After a?oeFantasy, Op. 11, No. 1a?? from Wilhelm Stenhammar, two Jean Sibelius works will be featured: a?oeThe Snapdragon, Op. 85, No. 4a?? and a?oeSpruce, Op. 75, No. 5.a?? Those will be followed by three works by Edvard Grieg: a?oeNorwegian Dance, Op. 47, No. 4,a?? a?oeShepherd's Boy, Op. 54, No. 1a?? and a?oeThe March of the Dwarfs, Op. 54, No. 3.a?? The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the presenters for both the 46th Annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy® Awards and the 46th Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards. The galas will both be held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, Southern California.

This evening's program, "Joyous Music of Beethoven," features some of Beethoven's most joyous compositions for piano, including "Polonaise in C Major, Op. 89," Adagio cantabile, Op. 13," "Presto con fuoco, Op. 31, No. 3," "Sonata No. 24 in F-Sharp Major, Op. 78," and "Sonata No. 26 in E-flat Major, Op. 81a." American pianist Jeffrey Siegel has been soloist with the world's great orchestras.  Abroad, these include the Berlin Philharmonic, London Symphony, Philharmonic and Philharmonia, Moscow State Symphony, Munich's Bayerischer Rundfunk, the Philharmonic Orchestras of Amsterdam and Oslo, as well as Stockholm, the Orchestra of La Scala and NHK Symphony of Japan.

Featured will be excerpts from West Side Story and Candide, Bernstein's arrangements for piano of Aaron Copland's El Salon Mexico, and the solo piano version of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the nominees for the 45th Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards. The ceremony will be held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Sunday, April 29, 2018 hosted by Mario Lopez, host and star of the Emmy award-winning syndicated entertainment news show, Extra, and Sheryl Underwood, one of the hosts of the Emmy award-winning, CBS Daytime program, The Talk. The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards will also be held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Friday, April 27, 2018. The 45th Annual Daytime Emmy Award Nominations were revealed today on the Emmy Award-winning show, The Talk, on CBS.

The 86th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade Will Air As Two-Hour Primetime Special


The 86th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade Featuring Marine Toys for Tots, produced by Associated Television International and presented in associations with The City of Los Angeles, will be televised as a Two-Hour Primetime Special airing on The CW Network on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT (7:00 p.m. CT) and will be seen on Hallmark after The CW broadcast. The parade will also air to more than one million American servicemen and women worldwide on the American Forces Network during the holiday season.
