Max Cervantes BIO
Max Cervantes is a first generation American actor and award-winning director who received musical theatre training from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, New Studio on Broadway. Max has performed off-broadway in The Christians (Playwright Horizons), as well as other venues throughout NYC including Joe's Pub (Mercury in Retrograde) and Dixon Place Theatre (Marie). Max can also been innational commercials. Max has directed, assistant directed, and choreographed musicals and plays at universities, colleges, educational theatre companies and festivals. Directing credits include: "TRU" (Chicago Musical Theatre Festival), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Dominican University), The Good Doctor (The Jedlicka), Chicago the Musical (BAMtheatre). He has also assistant directed under tony-nominated actress and director, Michele Shay, on The Old Settler (Billie Holiday Theatre), Blue Stockings (Tisch Drama StageWorks), and Gloria (NYU's Experimental Theatre Wing).
