Josephine Melville BIO
After first appearing on TV in 1983 in Luna, Essex-born Melville portrayed Tessa Parker in eight episodes of EastEnders in 1986, and Ellie Wright in one episode in 2005. She also had roles on TV in The Bill, Prime Suspect, Casualty and Pie in the Sky, among others, and in early 2022 she appeared in the music video for Ella Henderson's "Brave".
In feature films, she had roles in Empire State in 1987 and in the forthcoming Slammer. In 2021 she produced and directed Assistance, a short thriller.
She died on 20 October 2022.

Full Cast Announced For The Regional Premiere Of Natasha Gordon's NINE NIGHT at Leeds Playhouse and Nottingham Playhouse
Leeds Playhouse and Nottingham Playhouse have announced the full cast who will star the regional premiere of Natasha Gordon's critically acclaimed play NINE NIGHT. This comedic and heartfelt production will play in Leeds from 24 September – 15 October ahead of transferring to Nottingham from 19 October – 5 November.

Casting Announced For Theatre Royal Stratford East's SLEEPING BEAUTY
Theatre Royal Stratford East is delighted to announce the full cast for this year's panto, Sleeping Beauty. The cast includes Krystal Dockery as Fairy Stardust, Joshua Elliott as King Percy, Alice Frankham as Crow/Fairy Borealis/Mirror Antoinette, Josephine Melville as Mauditious Le Vicious, Ericka Posadas as Scarlett, Shaun Prendergast as Queen Pearl and Anthony Rickman as Forrest/Fairy Nightfall.
