The Television Academy Foundation has named four new members to its board of directors: Scott Evans, entertainment journalist, television personality and host of Access Hollywood; Alix Jaffe, executive vice president, television, at Village Roadshow Entertainment Group; Paula Williams Madison, and more.

The program opened with a surprise greeting from Ringo Starr and from that point on, donations poured in by phone, online, and text…and they're still coming in. They sent out a call for love, and Los Angeles answered with donations big and small. People calling in were not only giving $5, $10, $100, they were telling stories to volunteers about the son they lost to AIDS, or their own cancer battle, or their friend who has survived because of Project Angel Food.

Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts and the African American Cultural Festival of Raleigh and Wake County (AACF) announce their new annual partnership which will feature four co-produced events. Megan Bryant took it upon herself to create and do the arrangements for the First Annual IDAHO LAUGH FEST, with the help of a few local comedians. They should all be commended for putting together such a GREAT comedy filled event.
