Five-time nominee and winner of the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival Solo Performance, Pick of the Fringe, and Encore! Producer's Awards Under The Jello Mold, written and performed by Jennie Fahn, will return for an extended run beginning September 9 at the Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks. Directed by Tom Cavanaugh, Under The Jello Mold will play on Saturdays at 8pm with two added performances on Sunday, November 12 at 3pm and 7pm.

The fourth time was the charm for Minda Larsen, winner of the 2015 MetroStar Competition: “I have an MFA in opera,” she joked during the debut of her show, My Southern Song, at the Metropolitan Room on May 21, “So it took four tries in six years to win that competition.” The remark is typical of the self-deprecating humor of the versatile singer from Jacksonville, FL, who spent time in Georgia and went to school in South Carolina. Itching all her life to get out of the South, now she longs to get back. Her new show (a four-date run that is her award for winning the MetroStar) captures that longing with love, laughter, and an occasional tear.

Tony Yazbeck returned to 54 Below with The Floor Above Me, his tap filled cabaret show. Co-written and Co-directed by Yazbeck and Howard Emanuel, it explores the charismatic performers love for dance, his road to Broadway, and his career. Yazbeck unleashes his larger-than-life charm and talent, gifting audiences with a spellbinding performance.
